Dr. Afina Lockhart is an educational executive and systems leader with more than 30 years of experience across K–12 education, higher education partnerships, and nonprofit organizations — from founding charter school teacher to assistant superintendent.
Her work spans strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, MTSS, leadership development, educator pipelines, and equity implementation across Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, and beyond. She has led transformational initiatives in charter schools, urban and suburban districts, and higher education institutions.
